Reporter Covers Live Snowstorm, Then Cameraman Spots Surfer Enjoying The Waves

When reporter Kristin Cole was covering a huge snowstorm in Long Beach, if you were watching, you probably felt bad for her.

She was all bundled up, but honestly, it still looked frigid outside.

The camera had water marks on it, the wind was blowing strong, the entire scenery was covered in snow, and the ocean behind her was being blocked by a man-made dune to prepare the streets for water.

But, seeing as it says this was a live recording at the time, many people most likely watched and waited for updates.

Instead, what they got was a huge shock. A surfer.

A man named Adam suddenly is spotted out in the dangerous current and lands an interview on the news.

He says that the current took him about a mile from where he started, and it was rough, but this was his first time surfing. Kristin naturally, thinks he meant the first time surfing in a storm, but apparently, it was his first time surfing ever.

Can you imagine? He’s lucky to be alive! I hope the news van gave him a ride to his car because he must be freezing—and exhausted after surfing during a nor’easter.
